Ever since UD releases their famous Naked palette, the other brands have been fight head over heels to match 'em. I personally doesn't have the real Naked Palette. I have too many eyeshadows to begin with. Afterall, my husband will kill me if i bought another high end brand that won't be finished in my own lifetime. Haha.

Nuff chit chat, so few weeks ago i came across this two rather affordable and easy to get "neutral" palettes. These are the twos.

I was excited (and still am, actually) since i've been followed Sariayu Color Trends for years. Now after 30 years of work, they come up with yet another marvelous creation of makeup to beautify Indonesia.

So in this post i will show you some swatches on some of the 2015 color trend by Sariayu Martha Tilaar. As usual they all are very pigmented and have a very affordable price.

Time goes by and before we knew it, another year has pass and Sariayu, the famous local brand, launches their annual color trend. It's their 29th launch now, isn't that amazing. And i'm so excited to be part of this beautiful moment.

This year's trend was inspired by the beautiful nature and culture of Papua abd their Raja Ampat region that's known globally for the underwater magic. And do not forget the beautiful birds of paradise that originated here. Do you know that Papua is the largest island in Indonesia and second largest in the world after Greenland? Amazing, right?!

EVENT REPORT : MISS INDONESIA PAGEANT 2014 FINAL

Dear readers..

As a girl, we always have a dream to become a princess one day. Known as a super tomboy girl growing up, i also shared the same dream (believe it or not), that one day i'd walk on those runways wearing fabulous crown. But what's stopping me? Hmm.. my short legs does (and fat belly, i think). Sobbed! But, i've made peace with the way i am and respected it. maybe i could change the world in other ways. As blogger or influencial writer, maybe? We'll see.

Anyway, since i was a little kid, i watched pageant shows each and every year. No matter how late it aired on tv. It excites me to see women (smart ones) gathered together from all over the world and compete to win the fancy title. I love to see their wardrobes, makeup, hair dos etc. Most of all, i'm thrilled to see the way they answered the judges' questions. From that moment, we could just see how smart they are, not just outer beauty. Well, for years i just saw it on tv. But this year is different. Sariayu kindly invited me to come to Miss Indonesia Pageant Final 2014. Without any hesitation, i said YES! As we all know, for all these years, Sariayu is the official makeup and hairdo sponsor. So i'm honored to be invited to this huge event. Yay!

SARIAYU TREND WARNA 2014 'BORNEO' : FOUNDATION MOUSSE SWATCHES!!

Dear lovely readers..

Long time no post.. well, yeah i know, the motherhood activities sounded more like an excuse now.. but to be honest, after spending months of endless complaints bout how tired, how hard and much more, lately, i could bravely say that i enjoyed it (finally!).. even though it's still hard and complicated, i started to see things differently.. like rather than focused on the negativity, just enjoy the fun part and embrace all the moments, cause before you know it, your baby grew and you can't call him/her a baby anymore.. ^_^

Nuff said.. so, after finishing my latte (double shot!), let's do some swatches.. another new products from Sariayu color trend 2014, the foundation mousse..

like all of you makeup junkies already know, Sariayu is one of my all time favorite local brand makeup, esp their eyeshadows.. however, their liquid foundations are too oily for me and it transfers too much, so they never fit my oily-combination skin very well, but it works well for my mom's dry skin.. so if you have dry skin, those products may suits you..

And now, they released their latest invention called foundation mousse.. here you go..

SARIAYU TREND WARNA 2014 BORNEO LAUNCH EVENT!!

Haiii haiii.. Event report again.. after longggg longggg hiatus from blogger events (momma's duty), on 5th December 2013, i was invited to attend the launch of Sariayu Trend Warna 2014 that was held in JCC, Senayan.. i wouldn't miss it in any way!!

The event itself was held along with Bazaar Fantasirkus Fashion Show.. so as you can tell by the theme, the venue were decorated with all circus stuff..

Hi again!!! This post is about another fun event held by Sariayu, my favorite local cosmetics brand.. they invited all media network from fashion magazines, tv's and us beauty bloggers to celebrate their achievements and successful year..

As we all know, this year's Miss World Pageant was held in Indonesia!! I'm so proud and thrilled about how cool our country must looked internationally..even the host sez that Indonesia is a country with the nicest people in the world... ahhh!!! Oh, and in that event, Sariayu is the main sponsor for 129 finalists' makeup and hair do.. about 60 makeup artists were working their asses off to make it perfect!!


There were also DR. Martha Tilaar.. my idol.. she told us about her achievement and how her hard work for those many years had paid off.. with her motto, LOCAL WISDOM GO GLOBAL, she's definitely one of Indonesian hero that could empowered local business especially women to become a successful and independent entrepreneurs..


To celebrate this special moment, Sariayu Martha Tilaar launched BEAUTY BOX LIMITED EDITION - BEAUTY ACROSS THE CONTINENT.. this beauty box contains Eye Kit, Lip Kit and Shimmering Powder that was inspired by the variety of women's skin colors across five continents in the world : ASIA, AUSTRALIA, EROPA, AFRICA and AMERICA.. and we whose invited to the event got a chance to received it exclusively before the public launch.. yipeee!!

Pada acara Indonesia Fashion Week yang digelar di Jakarta pada tanggal 14-17 Febuari 2013 kemarin, Sariayu Martha Tilaar kembali memberikan dukungan penuh sebagai official makeup and hair do sponsor dan ini sudah tahun ke dua..

Lebih kurang 50 makeup artist dikerahkan mendukung tata rias dan rambut dalam 16 pagelaran busana dengan 218 model yang menampilkan rancangan karya anak negeri dan bersanding dengan designer internasional..

Trend warna Sariayu sendiri sudah memasuki tahun yang ke 27, dimana Sariayu adalah satu-satunya brand lokal Indonesia yang konsisten membuat trend warna yang berbeda setiap tahunnya..

Sariayu Trend Warna 2013 Beauty Class at Indonesia Fashion Week 2013

Hi Fab Gals..

Tanggal 17 Febuari lalu, ak diundang ke acara Beauty Class Akbar dari Sariayu di JCC Senayan.. Kenapa disebut akbar? Karena acara ini diikuti oleh lebih kurang 3500 peserta.. Suasana di JCC begitu ramai dan penuh sesak dengan para perempuan yang sangat antusias ingin tahu lebih dalam mengenai cara makeup yang baik dan benar..

Sebelum acara dimulai, seluruh peserta diminta untuk berdiri dan menyanyikan lagu Indonesia Raya.. Wahh, saya sama sekali tidak menyangka kalau ternyata hal sekecil menyanyikan lagu kebangsaan walau hanya sebentar, tp beramai-ramai, bisa membuat rasa nasionalisme dalam dada itu menggelora gimanaa gitu.. Hebat sekali tim Martha Tilaar ini, salut..

Kemudian acara dilanjutkan dengan parade Jember Fashion Carnaval yang sangat spektakuler.. Saya tidak henti-hentinya bertepuk tangan dan berteriak saat satu persatu para pria dan wanita dengan kostum carnaval yang super heboh muncul.. Kostum dengan kerumitan dan seni yang begitu tinggi, warna-warna sangat cantik dan menyolok.. Sudah pasti berat tentunya, namun mereka dengan gesit berlenggak lenggok di catwalk, bahkan saat finale mereka bisa berjoged dengan semangat.. Gosh! I'm so lucky to be here.. *biasa hanya nonton di tv.. :')
