few days ago, i've received this cute package from Maybelline Indonesia.. they launches this awesome product called BB Stick.. and yes you're right, it's a bb cream in a stick form..

 i love the package.. so compact and prevent the product to spill all over your bag when you carried 'em.. ^_^

just bought this product last week and tried 'em out.. because i'm a huge fan of BB cream and Loreal is a pretty awesome drugstore brand, why don't we give it a shot..

so, here's my new baby..

 i actually love the packaging, it's lightweight but also elegant.. with SPF 50.. it's got all the wonders we need..

Etude House Dream On Makeup Base

ohh dear God.. finally another post!!! so excited.. miss blogging so much!!! ;)

anyway, i wanna share to you about another makeup base i've been using this past few weeks for events that needed full makeup and quiet like the result..

this is it.. another Etude House famous product...

i choose the green one, because we all know, green is good for correcting any redness and nobody ohh nobody is in need for redness coverage better than me.. *desperado!! :'(

so this is the before pic..

i really don't know if you could see the redness or not because my vanity lamp seem wayy too bright, but trust me, in reality it was much worse.. dang!

and the after pic..

can't you see the instant coverage already.. the redness seem faded and smooth.. ayayayayyyy love it..

okay, the reason why i only use this base for heavy makeup because the consistency itself is kinda heavy.. and you really really need to be careful when apply it all over your face, coz it's quiet sticky, lil' bit hard to blend and if you put it too much, you're face gonna look extremely white.. maybe i'm gonna call it OVER CONCEALING.. LOL!! so instead of put it too much and be suicidal, you better build it up just like using liquid foundation..

but well, the extra effort for build up and blending is actually worth the result.. my redness is just gone, puffff!! like magic.. but it also need extra time.. so extra effort just fit  for extra events, not suitable for daily usage.. i mean, for me it's not.. :)

and it's quiet pricey, i think about nearly IDR 300000 on the counter.. well, just wait till my birthday to get a discount then....

Great Primer for Super Oily Skin

When people asked, “what’s your definition of perfect makeup?”.. what do you think would be the best answer?? For me.. the best makeup is when you don’t have to retouch it too often.. great makeup should be lasts as long as possible with a little usage of blotted powder or tissue (maybe one time or two per day)..

Before worrying about the eyeshadow, blush, etc.. let’s worry about the face first.. we do need a primer after applying moisturizer and before foundation.. primer works as a layer.. Smoothing imperfection on your face, leaving it ready as a plain canvass for your artwork (in this case, makeup)..

For now I’m gonna talk about Dr. OIL SOLUTION from Etude House.. from the name, you probably could figure that this product is a actually a primer that moisturize, reduce excess oil and covers pore.. it also claimed improves foundation makeup expression and longevity.. I have a very oily skin and extremely large pores (thanks, mom!).. so I think this primer would be nice for me to tried on for a fun hang out last weekend.. trust me, when I hang out with my girlfriends, I’d spent at least 9 hours LOL!

Result was amazing.. I love the way my skin react to this product.. it absorbed nice and non-sticky.. I wore colorstay foundation by Revlon after.. and usually with other primer, I’d get oily in less than an hour and more less outdoors.. sucks! But using this, I just have to blot my face ONE TIME and that was about 5 or 6 hours after I applied my makeup.. great, huh!?!?

12 pm.. ready to go..

 9 pm.. back home..

I also used the pore coverage (the cherry on top) and applied it over my cheeks area since those areas have the largest amount of huge pores.. the consistency is not creamy but not dry as well.. it absorbed instantly into your skin and melted like a nice smooth powder.. so I applied it also around my T-zone.. and I think that helped reduce the oil.. so, bye bye large pores..

Moisturizing Foundation for Cold Weather

Hi.. 

for now, I wanna share to ya’ll this great makeup base and foundation by Etude House.. I bought this few months ago and in love with its moisturizing and dewy (but not oily) effect..

I just got home from my honeymoon to Europe and the weather there was very unpredictable.. it supposed to be spring and not that cold, but maybe the global warming has turned the weather into confusing state.. very annoying! 

Well, anyway coz I have to be out all day walking, I need makeup that lasted all day.. I brought precious mineral makeup essence and moistfull essence-in foundation and they’re shockingly good.. my skin felt soft and even after cleansing it still felt good and dewy.. the cold air made my skin all dried out but not my face.. so, it’s highly recommended.. both of them are match couple and perfect for dry skin even combination skin like me..

So if you’re live in a very cold weather area or worked in the office with very cold-drying air conditioner, this couple are a perfect choice.. however, if you live in hot tropical area (like me), you’ll need to blot the oil every few hours depends on your skin type, but the foundation won’t come off that easy, so relax.. ;)

Give it a try and see.. you’ll gonna love it..
