Lancome Blanc Expert Cushion Compact

Hi, dear readers.

Last Saturday i was invited by Lancome Indonesia to attend their Blanc Expert Compact launch event. Yay! Since i am a huge fan on their Blanc Expert foundation (the full coverage but light feeling), the cushion form truly intrigued me in sooo many level. I'm just gonna be quick about the event coz i wanna show you the great staying power of this stuff.

Dear lovely readers..

Long time no post.. well, yeah i know, the motherhood activities sounded more like an excuse now.. but to be honest, after spending months of endless complaints bout how tired, how hard and much more, lately, i could bravely say that i enjoyed it (finally!).. even though it's still hard and complicated, i started to see things differently.. like rather than focused on the negativity, just enjoy the fun part and embrace all the moments, cause before you know it, your baby grew and you can't call him/her a baby anymore.. ^_^

Nuff said.. so, after finishing my latte (double shot!), let's do some swatches.. another new products from Sariayu color trend 2014, the foundation mousse..

like all of you makeup junkies already know, Sariayu is one of my all time favorite local brand makeup, esp their eyeshadows.. however, their liquid foundations are too oily for me and it transfers too much, so they never fit my oily-combination skin very well, but it works well for my mom's dry skin.. so if you have dry skin, those products may suits you..

And now, they released their latest invention called foundation mousse.. here you go..

My Natural-Daily Makeup with Maybelline..

well like most of you, i love AFFORDABLE makeup.. and one of my fave is Maybelline's.. it has so many makeup range from base, eyes, cheeks, even cleanser.. for prize? y'all know it's very affordable, even for students..

i use Maybelline since high school and although it was so loonggggg ago and i'm quite "matured" now ( i declined to say old, bare with me.. ), i still use most if their products for my everyday makeup.. because it's lightweight and not clogging my pores..

so, here they are...

1. Base : Maybeline Clear Smooth Aqua Gel Foundation..

 this foundation is so perfect for people with oily skin (like me).. it melt easily, easy to blend and the "aqua" thingy gave you the comfort effect.. well you should try it to get what i mean..

the lightweight formula and medium coverage made it so perfect for young chicas out there who just started to learn to use makeup or even for the expert ones.. just blend with your cleaned fingers and you'll get the perfect base..

this product has many shades, i only got this two..

"sand" matches my skintone perfectly, and i use "true beige" sometimes for more tanned look..

see the sand kinda pink-ish and true beige more of darker yellow-ish shade..

2. POWDER : Maybeline Clear Smooth Powder in LIGHT..

aww man, this baby don't lie.. it really really gives you the smooth matte finish.. honestly, i just bought this powder recently (urgent matters) and i fell in love right away.. see how it almost finished less than a month.. ^_^

this is great for touch up as well..

3. BLUSH : Maybelline Clear Smooth Blush in Fresh Berry..

 

look how gorgeous the pink color is.. it fulfilled my needs for DOLLY LOOK!! watch out Korean Girls.. i'm gonna kick some ass with this blush.. ^_^

this blush is very pigmented and kinda powdery as well.. so you need to use it gently.. put on your blush brush, tap the excess (so it won't fall on your cheeks) then lightly brush 'em on your cheek bone.. easy breezy!

 

and.... last but not least, how i use my Maybellines..

before

foundation as the base first then set everything with powder..

apply blush to spice up your face.. less PALE, more GLAM!

add a tiny cat eye liners and lipbalm..

VOILA!!

ok so that's my everyday simple look.. maybe less on the cheeks.. i exaggerate a little coz i want it to POP on camera.. but be careful with the blush, it's VERY VERY pigmented.. use it lightly then build up the color, OK!!

Affordable and Great products.. what's not to love~!!

Moisturizing Foundation for Cold Weather

Hi.. 

for now, I wanna share to ya’ll this great makeup base and foundation by Etude House.. I bought this few months ago and in love with its moisturizing and dewy (but not oily) effect..

I just got home from my honeymoon to Europe and the weather there was very unpredictable.. it supposed to be spring and not that cold, but maybe the global warming has turned the weather into confusing state.. very annoying! 

Well, anyway coz I have to be out all day walking, I need makeup that lasted all day.. I brought precious mineral makeup essence and moistfull essence-in foundation and they’re shockingly good.. my skin felt soft and even after cleansing it still felt good and dewy.. the cold air made my skin all dried out but not my face.. so, it’s highly recommended.. both of them are match couple and perfect for dry skin even combination skin like me..

So if you’re live in a very cold weather area or worked in the office with very cold-drying air conditioner, this couple are a perfect choice.. however, if you live in hot tropical area (like me), you’ll need to blot the oil every few hours depends on your skin type, but the foundation won’t come off that easy, so relax.. ;)

Give it a try and see.. you’ll gonna love it..
