Last friday, i was invited to Estee Lauder event at MTA.. there was also a makeup demo with ms. Joyce Lee, an international makeup artist from Malaysia.. i liked her a lot.. she's very nice and resourceful.. she also answered all of our questions about makeup thoroughly and gave us tons of secret tricks on makeup applications.. awesomeee!!!

Paula's Choice Makeup Demo Event at Beauty Fair 2013

so at the beauty fair by meganevent few weeks ago at PX Puri, there were also makeup demos and products launch.. salah satunya adalah Paula's Choice dari Paula Begoun, sebuah merk skin care dan makeup dari Seattle, Washington, yang akhirnya masuk ke Indonesia dan kedatangannya disambut meriah oleh para pengguna setia produk ini terutama bagi mereka yang concern dengan produk-produk lain yang banyak mengandung bahan kimia yang tidak berguna seperti pewangi, pewarna dan sebagainya yang dapat membahayakan bagi mereka yang sensitif dan alergi terhadap zat tersebut..

ok, back to the event.. kali ini Paula's Choice Indonesia mengadakan makeup demo, sekaligus memperkenalkan bahwa produk ini juga memiliki makeup range yang tentu saja sangat aman digunakan karena bebas dari zat-zat yang tidak berguna.. yipeee.. cannot wait to try it..

L'OCCITANE 10th ANNIVERSARY in INDONESIA

hi again..

last wednesday i was invited to L'occitane 10th Anniversary event.. wow, can you imagine, this brand has came along the way with awesome products and all and it's 10 years already..

their 1st store were built in Plaza Indonesia on 2003 and after that, they already had i think about 29 stores all over Indonesia.. they even have 2 spas called Mango Tree Spa in Bali (Ubud and Jimbaran), yeah call that a PLEASURE..

the event was held at Ratatouille French Bistro..

Annyeong Haseyoooo... (sorry if it spelled wrong!! my bad) ^_^.. 
it means greetings in Korean..

why i'm in this all Korean mood today? well maybe because there's another products from Korea arrived safely to Jakarta.. yeayyy!! as you know their makeup / skin care are very booming lately and so far, Korean products never fails me..

last Friday, Nature Republic (Korean Brand) opened their first store at Matahari Dept. Store, Lippo Karawaci.. and they kindly invited me to come and check 'em out.. here's all the pictures.. beware, there's A LOTTT!!!

the store has a simple concept and as you can see all the bloggers are busy with swatches and "ICIP-ICIP".. haha!

PRODUCTS

1. SKIN CARE

this aloe vera soothing gel is one of their famous product.. for IDR 49K only.. WOW!

each of us got one for our goody bag.. yeayyy!!

 the gel texture are so smooth and has cooling effect.. besides for moisturizing your body, you can use this product for sunburn (pain!!) as well..

ohhh.. and the fun part is you can use this FROM HEAD TO TOE.. yeahh.. all the way!! ^_^

ohh the yummy texture is amazing.. but pls don't eat it, MARSHA!!

COOL and SMOOTH plus ABSORBED instantly.. perfect for me who hated sticky body lotion..

ok, so interesting thing about those two from the left is, they are sun protection products with SPF 50 in SPRAY form!!! oh my god!! Koreans, you keep impressing me all over.. i tried 'em and they have shimmering effect as well.. so bye bye sunburn, welcome fabulous!! ^_^

those two practically the same, the difference is the blue one has cooling effect, that's it.. the function, the shimmering thingy are all the same..

 and don't forget the MILK SUN! also with SPF 50 and look at the texture..

easy absorbed as well..

this product caught my eye because it's name AQUA and it's for COMBINATION SKIN.. perfect for me..

and again.. no sticky feeling, quick absorbed plus very soft fragrance.. ^_^

2. MAKEUP

who can't wait for BB cream swatches?? ME ME MEEE!!!

isn't that interesting, snail bb cream?? LOL!

as you can see, the botanical is more pinkish while the snail one is more yellow-ish..

 another BB cream in the pot.. with SPF 27.. the texture is more creamy than the first two.. has more coverage as well..

the consistency is thicker and more like liquid foundation then a what BB creams usually had..

 last but not least the unique BB balm.. something new for me..

i love the cute puff.. the texture is powder (not creamy..)..

 the color range are nice and natural, effective for daily use..

 EYE MAKE UP!

the single eye shadows cost IDR 49K as well.. woohoo!!

on the bottom is eye makeup remover, there are two variants.. the blue one for mascara and the green one for waterproofed eye makeup..

 one of my fave product is this one.. the anti-UV SPF 50 and it has powder consistency.. so when you think few brands are awesome with their "immediately absorbed" sun block, well this is more than that..

i hate sticky feeling, so powder based sun block for me is a very helpful and I THANKED BELIF A LOT, for made this thing came true.. SOBBED!!!!

ok, tears wiped.. next, the fun part.. FACIAL!!!

well we didn't mean to bully you, girl.. but you wore less makeup than the rest of us and you're the youngest, so, mmm.. yeahh i guess we bullied you a little.. but with love.. LOL!

Next our turn.. well i got intrigued to took off my makeup and try the facial thanks to Marcelle who (rarely) already took off hers.. haha!

and our sweet mommy, Carnellin.. well as you know, after the therapist took off her makeup, i didn't see any surprises AT ALL.. her skin is AMAZING!! envy you, girl!

see, my redness covered up nicely and it's buildable..

check out the consistency of some of their products..

my fave.. WOW!! absorbed nicely on my skin.. arghhh!!! love love loveee..

use it before the Aqua Bomb, mmm i mean Aqua Cream..

 all the products felt lightweight and soft on you skin and honestly, my first impression : COMFY.. i love the way this product didn't leave any sticky feeling.. even the eye cream (which i used to hate using).. can't wait to try 'em all..

all products price range are IDR180K up to IDR590K if i'm not mistaken).. so it's in middle range, i think..
