Maybelline New York's First Horse Riding Event and Intimate Session Event Report

Last Sunday, i was (joyfully) attended this exclusive event held by Maybelline Indonesia at Arthayasa Stable. With "first horse riding" as theme and a stable as venue, i was confused at first. What should we do there. Are we gonna watch some horse sport, or else? Well, this in new. 

When we finaly got there, i was stunned. I cannot believe there's still a spot in hot hot Jakarta with a natural ambience like this...

Setelah vakum hampir tiga tahun dari gym, finally kemarin saya diundang oleh Mommies Daily untuk menghadiri acara Happy Zumba with Happy Soya Oil. Without a doubt, i said YES! Jadi, untuk pertama kalinya after longggg longgg time, saya akhirnya bisa mencoba zumba yang katanya selain menyenangkan, bisa membakar banyak kalori dan mengencangkan tubuh di saat yang bersamaan. Yummy, kan!!

PAC Asian Beauty Awards 2014 Exclusive Media Meet Up!

Dear readers.

So few weeks ago, PAC, my fave local makeup brand from Martha Tilaar Group, invited me to their exclusive media meet up. They were about to pronounced all the excitement that awaits on the 8th Asian PAC Beauty Awards that will be held on October 25th 2014 as a part of international music festival, Sounds Fair 2014, presented by Java Festival Production. Who's got excited? Me, for sure.

Dan untuk local brand, masa sih ga ada yang tahu tentang Martha Tilaar group. Perusahaan besar yang family based dan sukses mengangkat nama Indonesia di mata dunia loh. Mulai dari anak-anak sampai lansia pun pasti deh tau produk-produk mereka. Me and my mom, for example, are the loyal costumer. Selain sebagai ungkapan cinta tanah air, harga yang terjangkau pun menjadi salah satu alasan why so many Indonesian people love their products.

EVENT REPORT : MISS INDONESIA PAGEANT 2014 FINAL

Dear readers..

As a girl, we always have a dream to become a princess one day. Known as a super tomboy girl growing up, i also shared the same dream (believe it or not), that one day i'd walk on those runways wearing fabulous crown. But what's stopping me? Hmm.. my short legs does (and fat belly, i think). Sobbed! But, i've made peace with the way i am and respected it. maybe i could change the world in other ways. As blogger or influencial writer, maybe? We'll see.

Anyway, since i was a little kid, i watched pageant shows each and every year. No matter how late it aired on tv. It excites me to see women (smart ones) gathered together from all over the world and compete to win the fancy title. I love to see their wardrobes, makeup, hair dos etc. Most of all, i'm thrilled to see the way they answered the judges' questions. From that moment, we could just see how smart they are, not just outer beauty. Well, for years i just saw it on tv. But this year is different. Sariayu kindly invited me to come to Miss Indonesia Pageant Final 2014. Without any hesitation, i said YES! As we all know, for all these years, Sariayu is the official makeup and hairdo sponsor. So i'm honored to be invited to this huge event. Yay!

Ok so last Saturday, i was invited by Oscar Blandi Indonesia to attend their event (hair workshop and product introduction) at Plaza Senayan.. well, usually, we just saw the demo and that's it.. so for having a hair workshop to educate beauty bloggers on how to style our hair in daily basis, i said kudos to Oscar Blandi Indonesia team to come up with such an interesting ideas..

Hi again!!! This post is about another fun event held by Sariayu, my favorite local cosmetics brand.. they invited all media network from fashion magazines, tv's and us beauty bloggers to celebrate their achievements and successful year..

As we all know, this year's Miss World Pageant was held in Indonesia!! I'm so proud and thrilled about how cool our country must looked internationally..even the host sez that Indonesia is a country with the nicest people in the world... ahhh!!! Oh, and in that event, Sariayu is the main sponsor for 129 finalists' makeup and hair do.. about 60 makeup artists were working their asses off to make it perfect!!


There were also DR. Martha Tilaar.. my idol.. she told us about her achievement and how her hard work for those many years had paid off.. with her motto, LOCAL WISDOM GO GLOBAL, she's definitely one of Indonesian hero that could empowered local business especially women to become a successful and independent entrepreneurs..


To celebrate this special moment, Sariayu Martha Tilaar launched BEAUTY BOX LIMITED EDITION - BEAUTY ACROSS THE CONTINENT.. this beauty box contains Eye Kit, Lip Kit and Shimmering Powder that was inspired by the variety of women's skin colors across five continents in the world : ASIA, AUSTRALIA, EROPA, AFRICA and AMERICA.. and we whose invited to the event got a chance to received it exclusively before the public launch.. yipeee!!

ESTEE LAUDER EVENTS with INTERNATIONAL MUA JOYCE LEE!!!

Last friday, i was invited to Estee Lauder event at MTA.. there was also a makeup demo with ms. Joyce Lee, an international makeup artist from Malaysia.. i liked her a lot.. she's very nice and resourceful.. she also answered all of our questions about makeup thoroughly and gave us tons of secret tricks on makeup applications.. awesomeee!!!

So last Saturday i was attending this spc event by Biotherm.. their not launching any new products though, they were just wanna have a simple gathering with 5 bloggers to introduced their products and explain thoroughly all about Biotherm.. for a gal who's never tried any of their products before, that was quiet informational.. ^_^

Victoria Makeup Atelier Grand Opening and Birthday Celebration!!

today i have a special event post of one of my friend Clerence Victoria.. she's a professional makeup artist whose already successful at very young age.. she also have this makeup school and already teached about 700 students so far.. and guess what, she's only 21.. *slap in the face..

she studied overboard.. from Asia, Europe and comin' up USA.. woowww, surely i wanna be one of her student.. well maybe some other time when my baby are bit bigger.. amen to that..

well, back to the event.. she invited me and my fellow beauty bloggers, Fweegy, Jesslyn and Leonita.. plus Grace (she looked a lot like Sabria, you know the celeb) LOL!!.. and Felicia from Felize Nail Art also in da house, people!! so much fun..

Bella Donna -- Wedding Romance Week "East Meet West" 4-7th April 2013

ahh wedding.. a celebration of love..

for couples so in loveee, marriage is a huge thing.. esp in Indonesia, when wedding is taken pretty seriously.. on certain age, women who's still unmarried will have this anxious feeling about when i'm about to get married.. no matter how independent and modern you are, you'd still get haunted with "when is your turn??" question made from everywhere.. from parents, relatives, even your married friends.. hate it? yeahh, a lot.. but this is the country you're living in.. so bear with it.. ^_^

i got lucky and got married on age 26 (last year).. i don't have a huge wedding party coz i wanted to use the fund for our honeymoon trip.. but sometimes, when i see themed wedding party that's so adorable and unforgettable, i felt like i wanna get married all over again.. the "girl" inside me still wanted a party a lil' bit.. LOL!! for me, i prefer small-intimate party.. with less than 50 closest families and friends on the beach with bare feet and comfy dress.. tiara made from wild flowers, simple bouquet and awesome food and wine.. so we could have a great time, great laughs and great food.. how's your dream wedding??

 ok.. so for those of you who have a plan to get married.. maybe next year or even this year, Bella Donna Group held another Wedding Expo this year called Wedding Romance Week "East Meet West" with Wedding Circus as the concept at Grand Indonesia from 4-7th April.. i was invited to their press conference..

they chose "Wedding Circus" as the theme this year, because of the trend of color blocking in 2013.. so, weddings could be colorful and all about fresh and fun.. and another thing is, wedding is not all about sanctity and "parents" thing, is all about YOU and YOUR HAPPINESS.. all about you, the brides and grooms.. ^_^ YOUR WEDDING, YOUR WAY...

PAC Personal Makeup Lesson -- Wedding Romance Week 2013

helloww my dear readers..

on 4th April 2013, PAC-Martha Tilaar, a professional makeup brand from Indonesia, invited me to their Personal Makeup Lesson and introduction of PAC Liquid Eyeliner Color.. i was so excited because even though i am such a makeup junkie, i almost never been on any "professional" makeup class before.. and PAC is one of the best local brand here that I LOVE, so you could never imagine how excited i was back then.. ^_^

the lesson was held on main atrium east mall Grand Indonesia.. this event is actually part of the Bella Donna Wedding Romance Week "East meet West", the huge wedding exhibition, with Martha Tilaar Group as one of their main sponsor..

well, at first, i thought PAC gave this to all the participants, but i was wrong.. they just lend it to us.. another sobbed moment.. LOL!!

we started by cleaning our face first.. then makeup base, and so on.. you know the drill..

all the participants (including me) were taking this class very seriously and full of enthusiastic.. haha..

today's lesson was held specially for all media guests..

i was the only blogger there..

RESULTS

here's my makeup look using all PAC makeup..

i LOVE the result.. they even taught me how to contour my nose, which is so hard for me to do.. and how to draw a proper eye-brow.. yeahhh!!

i was using dark brown matte eyeshadow and top it of with gold pearly eyeshadow (SWATCHES HERE).. and for the fun liner i'm using PAC Liquid Eyeliner Color in silver.. gawddd, love the look.. felt like a superstar already.. :P

oww and i used PAC black mascara.. you see how dramatic my lashes looked??

this was me having a serious conversation with the one and only DR. Martha Tilaar.. i was talking about how i love PAC products and some suggestions to make PAC a more successful brand in the future.. and guess what, she actually listened to me and took my suggestions seriously and even asked her employees to wrote down everything i said..

i'd let you know if someday my suggestions are really come true.. it'll be a blast to all of us, makeup junkie.. SERIOUSLY.. ^_^
