I'm starting this new year of 2015 with lots of excitements, and i'm really greatful. One of them is a very pleasant surprise from L'Oréal. They've sent me their latest beauty box, filled with their best products of 2014. Awesome.

Dear Beautiful Moms!!! [And Dads].

When it comes to putting our babies to sleep, there's never ever any exact fixed formula, there's no shortcuts and it's surely never easy. Especially for breast feed babies, sigh (wiping my sweats now). Singing, rocking, cuddling, even night drivings, i've been through it all. Say hello for permanent under eye bags, sister!! High five! Haha. But not all babies like mine, there are also lucky moms out there who has a very cooperative babies when it comes to sleeping (and eating). Babies are unique, each and every one of them. Just enjoy every second, because before you know it, they grew up and no longer need you to hug and cuddle them to sleep, sobbed!

Hola Fashion Lovers!!

Ahhh! Fashion never dies. Just like makeup. Both worlds are my passion. They completes each other and inseparable, more like a identical twins, in my opinion. And last Saturday i was invited by Female Daily Network to attend Billy Tjong's Fashion Show. This event was a part of UROCKS by 94.7 U FM. 

MY DAILY HAIR REGIME!

So basically this post is about the conclusion about what i do to take care of my hair in daily basis and of course, SILICONE FREE!!


1. I wash my hair every other day (if the weather is bear-able). If not, then if i washed my hair yesterday, then today i only washed my hair with conditioner.

2. I always put about 2-3 pumps of cem-ceman oil on my hair (three quarter long below the scalp) before put on shampoo. I only put shampoo on my scalp and rub gently, try not to let it cover my hair totally coz it make it so dry. The oil acted as the barrier.

3. Wash away the shampoo and use the conditioner on all parts of hair from roots till ends. Then rinse.

4. Towel dry by pressing.

5. After about almost dry (not damp anymore), add one pump cem-ceman oil. This acted as serum that will take care of frizziness and flyaways, but also nourishes my hair. So, after your hair is dry completely (air dried), it will be smooth like you'd never thought your frizzy hair could be without hot tools.. haha!


Because of the thickness of hair on each people may vary, then use the oil as much as you need, but beware not to use too much or your hair will looked greasy and dirty. ^_^


Thennn... (drum roll)..  healthy natural voluminous shiny hair, all yours!!

Ok! So, what type a person are you? Do you care enough of your surroundings? Or just simply ignorant. I don't write to blame, some people are born in certain way and what makes them who they are today (the personalities, attitudes, how we eat, and all) simply influenced by their environment and society. It's our own will who could change who we are. Most of us would say, hey people can't change. It's in our blood and bla bla. For me, if we want to, we could. It depends on YOU!

EVENT REPORT : MISS INDONESIA PAGEANT 2014 FINAL

Dear readers..

As a girl, we always have a dream to become a princess one day. Known as a super tomboy girl growing up, i also shared the same dream (believe it or not), that one day i'd walk on those runways wearing fabulous crown. But what's stopping me? Hmm.. my short legs does (and fat belly, i think). Sobbed! But, i've made peace with the way i am and respected it. maybe i could change the world in other ways. As blogger or influencial writer, maybe? We'll see.

Anyway, since i was a little kid, i watched pageant shows each and every year. No matter how late it aired on tv. It excites me to see women (smart ones) gathered together from all over the world and compete to win the fancy title. I love to see their wardrobes, makeup, hair dos etc. Most of all, i'm thrilled to see the way they answered the judges' questions. From that moment, we could just see how smart they are, not just outer beauty. Well, for years i just saw it on tv. But this year is different. Sariayu kindly invited me to come to Miss Indonesia Pageant Final 2014. Without any hesitation, i said YES! As we all know, for all these years, Sariayu is the official makeup and hairdo sponsor. So i'm honored to be invited to this huge event. Yay!

MY HG BODY LOTION & BUTTER FOR MY DERMATITIS ATOPY PROBLEM!!!

Hi dear readers..

Do you know, i have a very chronic dryness skin problem caused by dermatitis atopy or eczema.. the ultra dry skin made my skin so sensitive and fragile, that's why i need products that's soft and free from anything harmful, like irritants and fragrances..

So condition of my skin (and other people with this condition) is very dry, flaky and snake-skin like.. it's sooo sensitive and when something went wrong, like the extreme climate exchange (esp hot weather), my skin will exfoliates and itches like crazy.. you know what they say about be gentle to your skin and don't scratch fiesco.. but when it's uncontrollable, i cannot stand it.. i would scratch till it's bleed and making things worse.. the wound would invite more infections and more itchy-ness.. crappy!!

Besides the heat (and sweat), stress, debris, chemical, irritants, even certain food could trigger this so called allergic reaction.. if you have history of atopy as a baby (redness in both cheeks) and childhood (maybe food allergies, debris, certain clothing fabric, etc..), when you're grown ups, you'd end up with this condition.. one word, sucks!!

SUN DAMAGE 101

after reading so many books about beauty awareness esp. Paula Begoun's BEAUTY BIBLE, i realized that the main cause of our skin problem is SUN RAYS!! i didn't really give a damn about this at first, i even spent whole week in Bali, playin' on the beach, all my life, with no protection of sun block at all.. i hate sun block, it's sticky and yucky on my skin.. but now that i know more and it frightening me like crazy, i hope it's not too late for me to make amends to my beloved skin.. ^^

L'OCCITANE Angelique Hydrating Skin Care

as promised, now i wanna share my thoughts about the complete Angelique products by L'OCCITANE.. last post, i talked about how amazing their Mask is.. now stay tuned for the complete regimen.. ;)

1. Angelique Cleansing Gel

actually the word "gel" doesn't quiet represent the consistency of this one, because as you can see, it's more of liquid-y.. but it doesn't matter anyway coz i like it a lot.. 

God knows i have a very sensitive skin (besides my weird combination thingy..), and i always used baby soap (liquid one) for cleansing my face otherwise it'll dried out on the outer part of my nose, side of my mouth etc and the redness can be pretty overwhelming.. using "normal" face wash could be suicidal for me.. but sometimes, baby soap have sort of drying effect on my face as well although not as harsh..

well, this baby sure change my mind about "adult" face wash.. LOL.. the consistency reminds me of baby soap yet it doesn't give the dryness bonus on the side.. so i think if you have sensitive skin and forced to use baby soap like me, you could consider this one a try.. the softness and no "tight feeling" after.. yay!!

2. Angelique Exfoliating Gel

ok.. this exfoliating gel have no special end-effect results that makes 'em differ than any other brand.. but the uniqueness came from the scrubbing beads' consistency that actually made from GEL.. yes! gel consistency.. so scrubbing could be less painful.. it's so soft, yet could chop off all the dead skins, and smoother skin all the way..

3. Angelique Hydration Cream.

after all the cleansing, let's move on to moisturizing procedure.. this Hydration Cream actually have pretty thick consistency yet it melt so easily on your skin.. leaving it plump and moist with a nice grass scent as well that could sooth your mind in seconds.. after trying it for few days as a night cream, i can tell this cream made esp for DRY skin.. my skin is combination-to oily, so after a while, some small zits came out but nothing too serious though.. i gave my hubby a try and his skin type is Normal-Dry, actually this cream works well on him and he liked it.. LOLs..

for oily skin, i think i'd prefer more lighter moisturizer.. the next one....

4. Angelique Milky Lotion.

ahh.. see?! though it's name is Milky, but it's not sticky at all.. the consistency reminds me of another quick-absorbed moisturizers i used to wear.. so for my skin type, i'm gonna stick to this one.. it has no SPF though so you'll gonna need extra help.. and go to the next one, my most fave products from angelica...

5. Angelique UV Shield.

ladies, this is UV Shield we are all dreaming of.. it's SPF 40 so quiet good for extreme hot weather lately.. and it's consistency, mannn!! i wish they made BODY SUN BLOCK like this.. so quick absorbed and non-sticky at all.. i was almost burst in tears when tried it.. though it's quiet pricey.. LOL! 

but anyway i love this UV Shield.. thank you L'OCCITANE for makin' it STICKY-FREE.. Smoochhhhh!!!

La Tulipe - LT Pro EyeShadow Palette

Ahh..

Nothing more fascinating than a pretty palette.. Either eye shadows, lipsticks, blushes, anything.. I don't know bout you, but I think anything in palette form is more interesting..

This is a local brand and used a lot for makeups on television shows and you can also found it on many salons for their makeup services.. You can find this brand almost in any department store.. And coz it's local, it's very affordable and the quality is amazing too..

The palette comes in two types.. Matte and Shiny ones.. the colors are very pigmented especially if you wear an eye shadow base beforehand..

the lower left shadow (outer left on my hand) actually is a soft pink color with golden shimmer.. it's so unique and almost to good to be true..

the lower left shadow actually has the same color as my skintone.. so it'll be perfect for smoothing eyeshadow right above the crease area.. awesome!!

the lime green one is also fascinating, and the shocking pink... ahhhh.. i love colors, i love this palette.. yayy!!

ohh my God!! i almost got a mini "color" stroke.. for such an affordable price, i'm extremely satisfied..

new SKIN CARE HAUL : POND'S Microdermabration Kit..

well, i love my skin (and my hair) so much, and i'll try almost anything to make 'em as perfect as i could.. esp with my Large Pores problem.. that's a real bitch!!

i didn't actually purchase this products on purpose.. i was at the mall and wanted to buy POND'S age miracle day cream coz i love it.. i use it as my daily moisturizer routine.. i applied it just on my cheeks, where the large pores hangin' out, not the whole area coz i'm afraid my pimples gonna breakout or get more oily.. yeah baby, welcome to the nasty world of COMBINATION SKIN!!! ok, back again to the mall, then the SPG offered me two gifts (if i purchase minimum IDR100.000) and i should pick one.. a bag or the Microdermabration Kit.. since i have wayyy to much bag and it'll be useless anyway, i picked the kit instead..

the box contain :
1. microdermabrasion polishing cream
2. the sponge
3. post-treatment glow enhancer...

how to use :
first of all you gotta wet your face.. i washed my face first with pond's natural facial wash.. felt good on your skin and smoothed it after.. nice finish!!

then you squeeze enough tube no.1 to cover the entire sponge area (the round one) then massage it all over your face in round motion (avoid the eye area)..

it's not written on the instruction, but i also massage it all over neck area, because i think neck is as important as face to get the special treatment.. ;)

ok after you finished, rinse you face then dry 'em properly to be ready for the next step..
squeeze tube no.2 about a pea size amount onto your fingertips and apply all over the face (me : with neck also).. apply it from chin to cheek with smooth upward strokes..

you guys have to try this product.. damn!! my face really glowing and toned!! so fresh and smooth... i cannot express it enough with words.. you should try it yourself.. REALLY!!!

this product claimed to do better job on microdermabrasion than treatment at professional clinic.. well, i don't really know if it were trus or not, but in my opinion, for "at home, self kit", this product is worth to try for.. hey, i just spent IDR 100.000 and got this almost free.. LOL!!

ohh and btw, the  microdermabrasion polishing cream has this micro crystal stuff that is so smooth, even smoother than The Body Shop vitamin-c microdermabrasion treatment..(so, less painful..)

the band was interesting because of the "dance" themed songs and twins sister as the vocalists... i used to like the blond girl more because she have this gorgeous green eyes.. sooo mysterious and unique.. the blond one's Lynn, and the brunette's Jenny.. ;)

i love all of their albums but my favorite one is the 3rd.. well because i love each and every song in that album.. simple!!

1st time i saw their video was on the mid 90's i guess.. the "All That She Wants".. and it was just like love at the 1st sight.. then i just threw all my "kindergarten" songs, and started dance all the way.. LOL!!

actually, back then my mom kinda concern because of my weird sense of music.. well. she's right.. i grew up weird.. but, creatively weird.. so it's a good thing anyway..

life is a flower

as years goes by, i think their last album was "Da Capo".. why i called 'em last while actually Ace Of Base still exist till very today?? mmm well.. because, sadly.. they replaced the twin chics with another "younger" girl.. and all of sudden all of their unique-ness and interesting factors pfffff GONE..!!! where's my chicas??? I WANT THEM BACK... pleaseeee... :'(

i am actually kinda teary by now.. missing old times.. just using my school uniform.. got home from school and just turn on TV just to find their v klip on air then shake my ass.. LOL!!

and if you noticed.. in the last 2 videos (actually their last album's), Lynn wasn't sing any lyrics.. not even do back vocals.. i don't know, but in the last two videos, she was just only smiling through the camera and Jenny do all the singing.. that was weird because in old times, they kinda balanced all the vocal arrangements even Lynn was more noticeable back then.. another WHY?! from me..

all i know that, this' the band i'd never gonna see LIVE.. SOBBED!!!! :'(

i don't know why i wrote this blog all of the sudden.. but i surely miss them '"all".. the way they used to be.. i even became more fanatic by refused to buy their latest album with the new girls.. mmm...

it's not wide i know.. i should give 'em a chance.. i'll let you know the result..
