Long time no blog.. sorry guys, mommy duty calling.. about a month ago i gave birth to a son named Vaclav.. we called him baby Clav.. super adorable baby (when he's sleeping nice and quiet.. LOL!)..

Today i wanna talk about this new item.. not actually new though but new to me.. haha.. it's NYX "The Curve" felt tip eyeliner, sponsored by House Of Makeup.. i'm so glad they sent me this since i wanna try it so bad like crazy.. well, i couldn't live without eyeliner ^_^..

The Curve comes with incredible ergonomic handle, even you, who's new to makeup world could enjoy the long lasting fiesta of liquid eyeliner..

how to hold the pen..

As we all know, liquid liner is the most long lasting and smudge proof kind of eyeliner.. better than pencil even gel.. but how to apply it could be tricky.. you need to have steady hand and precise brush.. and you have to work it in one stroke.. once you failed, you'd ruined your whole eye makeup and it's never a fun way to start a day.. :'(

This product made using liquid liner a piece of cake.. if you're a clumsy chic like me or you're just super busy that you don't have enough time to be precise, this baby is awesome!!! With a spc handle to hold your point finger in the unique way so your hand won't shake.. you don't have to put your elbow on the desk anymore.. yipeeeee....

 The other thing i like is the felt tip.. it looked like a black marker.. but could give you precise line.. so if you want a very thin line for natural look or wanna make it more dramatic with thicker line, the felt tip made it super simple and easy..

i always started at the middle eye forwards or backwards..

and since i have a very small eyes.. winged eyeliner style is a must..

the longevity is fine and enough for me..

Bottom line is, i LOVE this product.. recommended for clumsy hands or even for the expert to save time and really2 less effort to make perfect eye liner everyday..

another sugarpill madness.. i almost burned my pocket for this month's haul.. LOL! but this insanity is worth the hell outta me.. super satisfied so far.. hoped for another haul, but, well, i need to save up for the next one.. ^_^

this products catches light AMAZINGLY.. you really2 should try it.. i'm in a Full-Color mood this month, so mind my crazy eye looks..

i wanna try the whole crazy eye look, but i thought it's not common and you probably wouldn't like it.. so i stepped it down and try it as fun eyeliner.. and it is FUN.. forget boring black and brown liners.. went ROUGE with this one.. YAY!! ^_^

PS : like previous sugarpill post i only used black pencil liner on my upper and lower waterline.. no face makeup, no eyeshadow primer..

NYX Candy Glitter Liner

hi everyone..

now i'd like to share this cute products from NYX, the Candy Glitter Liner.. very practical and easy to use esp for clumsy person like me (againnn).. LOL!

i'm very careless, so using powder glitter would be a disaster, there will be fall-out all over my face.. not good!! this product actually come in handy for me.. very simple and BAM! you have sparks on your eyes...

i don't know if this product still available or discontinued, coz i can't find it anymore on NYX web... sobbed!!!

EYE LINERS!!!

hello everyone,

for now i'd like to talk about eyeliners.. as you can see i've wrote about liquid eyeliners before but that was more about my struggle of using it.. now, i've got the grip and i'll show which kind of liners best for clumsy people (like me..) LOL!

1. Pencil EyeLiners

               This would be the easiest to apply, however what i don't like about pencils are how they tend to smudge (unflaterring) and leave stain all over your under eye area.. i've tried so many drugstore brands like revlon, la tullipe, maybelline, loreal you name it.. i was looking for more cost effective products so everyone could enjoy great lined smokey eyes without burning their pockets.. but, as hard for me to say, no pain no gain : more money you spend, less smudge you'll get..

Anyway, the drugstore brand i like is Maybelline crayon liner.. it has the most soft consistency so easier to apply without dragging your skin all over and when you smudge it (on purpose and flattering-ly), it won’t come off, unlike others.. it also give you liquid liners effect without risking any failure when you’re too clumsy to wear liquid ones.. and the price? Amazingly cheap for results like that.. LOL!

The high-end brand I like is MAC power point eye pencil, quite expensive but I’ve tried it for the last 2 weeks and super satisfied.. the color is super intense, so soft and won’t smudge, baby!!! Love it.. I wore it for lining my lower eye, it matched any liquid or gel liners I put on top liner (coz it’s hard for me for lining my under eye with liquid or gel liners, sobbed!).. I think the price is worth it and you just need to apply very little amount to get quite heavy effect, so it won’t finished that fast..

2. Gel EyeLiners

               Yes, I know, nothing compares MAC’s gel eyeliners, so many great reviews so I just say kudos to that and move on to tell you just about the drugstore brand I like anyway..

               I use Silky Girl double intense gel eyeliner.. it came in handy with attached brush on the top and the brush is actually good.. it easy to apply and lasts all day, trust me.. however, if you put it too much on lower line it will smudge a lot.. so, I use it just for top and for the lower line I use MAC pencil.. there you’ll have perfect smudge-less lines all day.. easy, cheap and lasts long.. beautifull!!!

3. Liquid EyeLiners

 

               I only have tried few brands like Revlon, Etude House, NYX, etc.. from traditional sweep the brush type to felt tip one, and still struggling.. I found it hard and I have better results with gel liners so I just used liquid liners for non-importance events that no need that much of eye makeup because it terrifies me when you already put so much effort on your eye makeup and it ruined by your clumsy hand while using liquid.. so I won’t say much.. so, for clumsy babes out there, lets just stick to gels.. ;)
